The purpose of this study is to analyze the speaking skills of 4th grade students in SDN Gondek. Drama-based role-play learning methods are used to improve students' speaking skills at the elementary school level. The purpose of this study was to evaluate the effectiveness of using drama as a role-play learning method to improve the speaking skills of a fourth grade student at SDN Gondex School. Furthermore, this study aims to discover potential positive effects, increase students' self-confidence, and reveal students' communication skills and interaction with the environment. The research methods used are descriptive and qualitative, with an emphasis on direct observation of learning processes using games and detailed analysis of student reactions and interactions during activities. Data collection was conducted through participant observation, interviews with teachers and students, and analysis of student role outcomes. The results of this study showed that the use of drama can improve the speaking skills of 4th grade students in SDN Gondek. In addition, the results of the analysis also showed the development of self-confidence, communication skills and the ability to interact with the environment. This study is expected to provide strong evidence for the usefulness and relevance of SDN Gondek's use of drama techniques in role-playing learning for her fourth-grade students. The practical implication is that teachers can integrate this method into the learning process to comprehensively improve students' speaking skills.
